Metal Clad (Type MC Series) Cable Connector

The (WT) connector series is to be used when bringing the cable into a knockout box. Locknuts, bushings, and gaskets are provided with the connectors to complete the installation process. The connector is easily installed by loosening the gland nut, screwing the body onto the metal sheath, and installing it through a knockout hole. |
The (WTU) connector series is designed to bring the cable into a threaded entrance (such as a switch gear, a motor housing, or threaded haz-loc box). This connector is easily installed by loosening the gland nut, screwing the body onto the metal sheath, screwing the male hub into the threaded entrance, and tightening the hub and gland nut. |
Both of these connectors are designed for outdoor use, but can be used indoors when a seal is required to protect against water spray, dust, corrosive elements, vibration, or other adverse conditions. As with all PER FIT® connectors the 360° contact between the connector and the sheath virtually eliminates the possibility of cable pullout, and assures effective bonding of the cable to the box or enclosure. All connectors are stocked in copper-free aluminum. They are also available in brass, nickel plated aluminum, and 303, 304, and 316 stainless steel for special applications. For extra corrosive areas, pre-cut lengths of heat shrink are available. |
