Installation Instructions for PER FIT® NWT Cable Connectors

NWT Body   Locknut Bushing
JACKET STRIP LENGTH  
  1. Remove enough jacket and armor from the end of the cable to allow wire leads long enough to make connections to equipment.
  2. Remove sufficient amount of jacket to allow for making a good grounding bond of the armor to connector.
  3. OMIT THIS STEP IF NOT USING SLEEVE!* Slip heat shrinkable sleeve over cable before installing the connector into the equipment. Do Not apply heat to sleeve at this time.
  4. Screw connector body onto the cable making sure it is tight enough to make a good bond.
  5. Remove locknut and bushing. Install cable leads and connector thru knockout hole into the equipment or box. Reinstall locknut (with teeth pointing towards the connector) and bushing.
  6. OMIT THIS STEP IF NOT USING SLEEVE! Slip heat shrinkable sleeve over cable and connector and apply heat to shrink the sleeve.
